COVID Policy

In response to the Provincial Health Authorities and WorkSafeBC, ALARA HAIR SOLUTIONS has implemented the following COVID-19 SAFETY plan and changes.


We are servicing APPOINTMENTS only, no walk-ins except for product/hair purchase or consultation.


MASKS ARE MANDATORY to avoid “moist conversations” or droplets. Please bring one for your appointment.


There will be a Covid-19 questionnaire sent 24 hrs prior to the appointment. Please call the salon immediately if your answer is “yes” to any of the questions.


No guests during appointments. There is no waiting area during the pandemic.


Serving one client at a time except if two family members are coming together for service.


Please do not arrive earlier than 2 mins before your appointment. We have set aside 15-20 mins between clients to sanitize implements and surfaces.


Alcohol-based sanitizers will be available at the entrance and both stations at all times.


Hand soap and warm water is available in the bathroom. Please wash your hands for at least 20 secs prior to and after the appointment or after using the bathroom.


Each client will have a fresh cape and the stylist will wear a fresh clean apron after each service. These will be washed every day with hot water and detergent containing the recommended amount of bleach.


All equipment will be sanitized using Fraser Health-approved disinfectants for a minimum of 10 mins. We will clean stations, counters, chairs, doorknobs, and areas of high contact in between clients.


We have adjusted our pricing to reflect the increased cost of doing business emanating from Covid-19.


No hugs, magazines, and beverages at this time but we will provide complimentary bottled water and wifi.
